making my first concertina book
for this project i want to be looking at different outputs. in lesson we looked at how to make our own concertina books. i used some images from my shoot when i went bowling for an example.
before i made one, i had to go on photoshop to create the layout for my images and using the cutting tools to make sure they fit how i would like them too.
we needed a cutting board, ruler, a pen, glue card and a knife. Once printed, i had to score down the middle of each column and where the markings were, then i had to cute down in between the two rows, then where i had scored the card i had to fold it over. once i had finished this i then glued each section of the images to form a long landscape row of images. to finish it off i measured the card when folded and measured out a piece of card just slightly bigger to fit around it as a cover. for this to take effect i then had to cut a small piece of card and glue it too the back of the cover, then cute a small opening on the front for it to go in, making it secure. this was good to experiment with as it is an easy, small output i can use to gather further ideas of a bigger output in the future.
